    This principle enables the operator to log in to any connected crane from any linked workstation. This allows the crane to operate semi-autonomously, with the CraneBRO™ operator only becoming involved when manual intervention is required.

    Optimal working conditions in a quiet, air-conditioned control room, together with comfortable RECARO™ operator seats, promote health and well-being. Height-adjustable and multi-position CraneBRO™ armrests from Gessmann provide additional ergonomic support.     CranoMatic™: Premium efficiency and maximum productivity in crane management and warehouse logistics

    CranoMatic™ manages transport orders, optimises operating times and provides real-time information on plant and system status – for lean and transparent warehouse processes. The software can be integrated into existing cranes as well as fully integrated into the customer’s production systems.

    The system collects, stores and processes data to provide operators and production managers with relevant order information and meaningful statistics. CranoMatic™ was developed as an in-house solution and enables seamless integration into the control systems (PLCs) of process cranes.

    Furthermore, CranoMatic™ is specifically designed for the management of automated warehouses, in particular for:

    • Tool storage (die cranes with grabs)
    • Coil storage (cranes with coil clamps or magnets)
    • Paper roll storage (cranes with mechanical grabs or vacuum lifters)
    • KONRAD, CASTOR® or CONSTOR® containers in nuclear power stations (cranes with spreaders)

    Key functions

    • No-fly zones: Definition of areas which the crane must not enter. CranoMatic™ automatically adjusts the travel paths to efficiently navigate around obstacles

    • Target positioning: Automatic movement to stored or dynamically generated target positions, e.g. working, parking or maintenance positions – quickly, precisely and reproducibly.

    • Operating zones: The crane moves exclusively within defined areas (e.g. warehouse or production) and uses pre-set waypoints

    • Hook centring: Automatic alignment of the bridge and trolley above the hook – for precise, fast and safe loading and unloading of loads.

    • Relative positioning (inching): Incremental movement relative to the crane’s current position to approach target points with precision.

    • Efficiency Sync: Synchronised movement of all crane axes so that they reach their destination simultaneously. The slowest axis determines the travel time, whilst all others adjust their speed accordingly – ensuring energy-efficient, gentle and precise operations

    • Path Following: Precise tracking of predefined paths, e.g. for safe passage through confined spaces.

    • Manuatic™: Seamless switching between manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic operation via a central user interface.

    • Active Anti-Sway: Camera-based, automatic sway damping through continuous measurement of the rope angle – for faster cycle times and a reduced risk of collision.
    • Enhanced safety for plant, loads and personnel, whilst boosting productivity and reducing errors
    • Tool changes up to 60 per cent faster compared with manual operation
    • CranoMatic™ enables the optimised use of existing storage space and maximises capacity within a limited area. Tools can be stored on up to six levels, coils on up to three levels, and paper rolls can be efficiently organised at storage heights of up to 15 metres. This ensures the best possible use of the existing infrastructure and reduces the need for additional space.

All sheets and sections are cleaned using a modern continuous blasting system.

    • Before further processing, the components are prepared using a straightening roller to ensure that the most stringent dimensional tolerances are met. In the shot blasting hall (30.0 x 10.0 x 8.0 m), the complex large components are thoroughly cleaned prior to coating.
    • The new paint booth (40.0 x 10.0 x 8.0 m) operates in accordance with the highest environmental and health and safety standards and is certified accordingly. The workplace lighting, providing 5,000 lux, guarantees the best conditions for the highest quality.
    • High-quality industrial coatings are applied under specified environmental conditions. This guarantees durability even in harsh working environments.

    BANG cranes demonstrate their strengths, for example, when transporting press tools between the warehouse and the press line. The efficiency of these production areas in automotive manufacturing depends directly on the crane’s handling capacity and the precision of the tool gripper.     An innovative system for pendulum control. Designed to neutralise any rotational pendulum movements that occur – and a two-channel monitored navigation control system enables the bridge crane to travel safely in narrow aisles close to the press.

    • Precise, pendulum-controlled automatic movements enable rapid movement to all target positions. The tool gripper’s pick-up and set-down positions are achieved with positioning accuracy in the millimetre range.
    • Precise travel paths within the space and intelligent, load-dependent speed control help to optimise set-up times in the press shop – something that conventional crane systems can only dream of. Perfectly matched wheel loads and wheelbases for the crane systems, in collaboration with the building designer, can lead to savings in the building structure and enable replacement investments that deliver higher performance.
    • The energy consumption of the drive system has also been optimised. When the load is lowered, the braking energy is fed back into the user’s mains supply.
    • Thanks to the higher power factors of the drive systems, BANG cranes have a lower proportion of reactive power in their energy balance. In addition, the use of floor spotlights and signal lights featuring LED technology helps to save energy.
